John's Web Page

John John

Hi I'm John! Thank you for looking at my web page.
Whether you are from my town, my country or anywhere in the World (or Universe for that mater) I bid you greetings! If you don't get anything else out of reading this: know that I wish you and yours "Peace and happiness"

Below, you will find some of the things that are important to me:

But first:

I wanted to share one of my favorite quotes, something I read in the Baja Sun:

"Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation) there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.

A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. I have learned a deep respect for one of Gorthe's couplets: Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it." W.E. Murray The Scottish Himalayan Expedition

If you understand that, you are way smarter than me and should be reading something else.

I was baptized Catholic (Christian) in 1983.
The Roman Catholic church is very rich in tradition and has many churches near by.
I use the Net to find
Catholic resources. My favorite site for daily spiritual reading, in English or Spanish  is the: Prayer in the home press.

Why is my nickname "XWINO"?
Frankly, because years ago, I had quite a drinking problem, in fact I was a "wino", that is, I was an alcoholic and drank wine because it did the job for less money.
I joined a twelve step program .in Feb. 1972. Thanks to God and the program, I haven't had a drink since. Hence the nickname "Xwino"

I am employed at Caco Pacific, a world leader in injection molds. My current supervisor is Gary Unitt.

My curent position at Caco is: CNC Programer. To see my Resume'; click on the link to the right.
